An annual international forum

The World Sport Economy Forum

Once a year, the leaders who finance, govern, produce, equip and staff world sport meet in one room. They decide what comes next, and leave with results.

Why the Forum exists

2.3 trillionUS dollars a year: the revenue of the sport economy

Professional sport is about 140 billion of it. Travel, sporting goods, the people who play, the people who build events and the capital coming into sport make most of the rest. No meeting brings that whole economy into one room, and almost none can say what it produced.

01

The whole economy, in one room

Capital, rights, production, technology, infrastructure, institutions and talent. Not one sport, the economy of all of them.

02

Outcomes, counted and published

Deals signed and people placed, with the rule for each, published after every edition.

03

A forum that travels

One identity, a host city chosen for each edition, on any continent.

The programme

Four days, four questions

Each day takes one question that decides where the business of sport goes next. Everyone leaves with something concrete.

Day 1

Capital and Rules

Where does sport capital flow, and at what returns?

You leave with: a term-sheet conversation opened.

Day 2

Production and the Show

What does a world event cost, and where does the discipline come from?

You leave with: a production brief you can act on.

Day 3

Technology, AI and Infrastructure

How is AI changing performance, broadcast, operations and fan data?

You leave with: a demonstration that held on a real feed.

Day 4

People and the Future

Who will run sport next, and what does sport owe the people who play it?

You leave with: a hire, a partner for the next generation, or a verified record of the work.

Who you will meet

The people who decide where sport goes next

Names are published only when each person has confirmed in writing. These are the worlds the Forum is built to bring together.

Ministers and officials
Investors
Clubs, leagues and federations

Day 1, behind closed doors

The Dealroom

Vetted opportunities in sport meet accredited investors. Clubs, leagues, events, venues, media and technology companies raising capital present to a committee first. Nothing said in the room is published. Only the deals signed are counted, with the consent of both parties.
